Quandro is a South African DJ and producer from Paarl in the Western Cape, specialising in Afro House, AfroTech, 3-Step and Classic House. Since beginning his production journey at the Soul Candi Institute of Music in 2014, he has built a distinctive sound rooted in uplifting grooves, energetic rhythms and dancefloor-driven experiences.
Influenced by Stimming, Crazy White Boy, Da Capo, Sun-EL Musician and Blanka Mazimela, he fuses African musical roots with contemporary electronic production — crafting sets and productions that feel both soulful and energetic.
Career highlights include a feature on a Soul Candi compilation through Blanka Mazimela, collaborations with Blanka Mazimela and Afro Brothers, and an official remix of Angelique Kidjo's "Agolo", released in 2021.
As a performer, he has appeared at venues and festivals across South Africa, steadily building a reputation as a disciplined, consistent and professional artist — with ambitions of representing South African dance music on the global stage.
"My goal is to represent South African electronic music on a global stage through Afro House, AfroTech and 3-Step music. I aim to release a full-length album, tour internationally, and use my experience to inspire and uplift the next generation of DJs and producers."
